Finished Part Injection Molding Service
Injection molding from a customer-supplied finished product for mass production: the production process is as follows.
1. Sample Comprehensive Inspection
(1) Material Analysis: We'll determine the plastic material of the sample (e.g., ABS, PP, PC) and identify any additives used, such as flame retardants or toughening agents.
(2) Dimensional Measurement: We'll use precision measuring instruments to measure all dimensions and tolerances of the sample.
(3) Mechanical Performance Testing: Based on the product's functional requirements, we'll conduct mechanical testing such as tensile strength, flexural strength (bending strength), and impact strength testing.
(4) Functional Testing: If the sample has specific functions (e.g., switches, latches), we'll perform functional testing to ensure proper operation.
2. Manufacturability Analysis (DFA)
(1) Product Blueprint Design
(2) Molding Feasibility Discussion / Mold Design Review: We'll analyze the sample's structure and details to assess the complexity of designing the mold. Complex structures, fine details, and thin-wall designs all increase the difficulty of mold design and manufacturing.
3. Mold Development and Manufacturing
4. Inspection: We'll verify whether dimensions and appearance match the technical drawings/specifications.
5. Mold Modification: We'll modify the mold until it meets all design specifications.
6. Production Cycle Estimation: Based on the complexity and production quantity, we will estimate the production cycle time.
